Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) rolled out a new update to its official mobile application, introducing a package of enhanced electronic services and facilities designed to make access easier for citizens and residents.
The updated version enables users to view family information, update phone numbers for individuals with children under the age of 18, and access digital images of their children’s birth certificates.
The update also allows display of passport copies, investor card details, and data of individuals under sponsorship.
Among the new features are options to book appointments for virtual visits with inmates, apply for a first-time driving licence, and report cases related to human trafficking.
The ROP affirmed that the update is part of its ongoing efforts to expand digital services, simplify procedures, and strengthen e-governance systems in line with national digital transformation goals.
