MUSCAT: Omani innovator Baraa bint Yousef al Awfiyah from Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) has unveiled 'Almify,' an artificial intelligence-powered educational platform designed to improve the learning experience for students in academic institutions.
Al Awfi said the name combines 'science' and 'simplify,' reflecting the platform’s goal of analysing academic content and turning it into structured learning plans tailored to each student’s level, time, and cognitive needs. The platform also provides tools for students with hearing and visual disabilities, ensuring equal opportunities in education.
Built on advanced AI technologies, Almify supports Oman Vision 2040 goals by driving digital transformation in education. It simplifies complex academic content, helps students improve results, reduces study pressures, and enables institutions to adopt modern learning methods.
Looking ahead, Al Awfi aims to position Almify as a global leader in personalised learning and to form partnerships with universities to strengthen digital transformation in the education sector.
Al Awfi has also qualified to represent Oman at the International Falling Walls Lab Forum in Berlin this November, after securing second place in the national competition.
