Muscat: Oman's Foreign Ministry announced that the Republic of Uzbekistan has decided to exempt citizens of the Sultanate of Oman from entry visa requirements, effective from June 1, 2025.

Under the decision, Omani citizens will be permitted to stay in Uzbekistan for a period of up to 30 days from the date of entry without the need to obtain a prior visa.

The ministry urged Omani citizens wishing to travel to Uzbekistan to ensure that their passports are valid for at least six months from the date of entry. Travellers are also advised to secure health insurance covering their period of stay.
