CAIRO: The Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones (OPAZ) has showcased investment opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector to international companies participating in the Pharmaconex 2025 exhibition, currently being held in Cairo.
OPAZ delegation at the exhibition comprises specialists from OPAZ, the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (Madayn), Salalah Free Zone, Sohar Free Zone and Khazaen Economic Zone.
OPAZ pavilion at Pharmaconex 2025 focuses on investment opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry in the Sultanate of Oman’s economic, industrial and free zones. It also outlines the accomplishments made by companies operating in the sector and their key products.
During a panel discussion held on the sidelines of the event, OPAZ reviewed the incentives offered to investors, as well as the advanced infrastructure that supports the investment environment in economic zones, free zones and industrial zones.
Emphasis was also laid on attracting biotechnology firms, active pharmaceutical ingredient manufacturers, pharmaceutical packaging companies, research and development centres and other parties operating in the pharmaceutical sector. - ONA
