MUSCAT: Ithmaar Properties has launched the second edition of the Scale Award for Emerging Technology Companies, reaffirming its commitment to supporting start-ups and strengthening the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in the Sultanate of Oman.
Organised in collaboration with strategic partners from both public and private sectors, the award underscores the importance of partnerships in stimulating promising economic sectors and creating new opportunities for entrepreneurs. It provides an integrated platform for emerging technology companies, offering technical and advisory support, financing opportunities, and access to investors and experts in local and regional markets.
The award process includes several phases, starting with open registration and nominations by relevant authorities, followed by the selection of top projects to present their proposals before a judging panel during the exhibition.
The initiative culminates in honouring winners and offering continued support and guidance to accelerate their market growth.
Eng Said bin Abdullah al Mandhari, CEO of Ithkaa Group and Secretary General of the award, said the Scale Award plays a pivotal role in empowering emerging technology companies and promoting an innovation-driven business environment.
He stressed that strong partnerships between the public and private sectors form the backbone of the award’s objectives.
