The Ministry of Health (MOH) has said it selects donors who donate their blood voluntarily without payment, ensures the donor's safety and ability to donate blood to preserve their health and the health of the blood recipient, collects blood in a healthy environment that ensures cleanliness and safety to reduce the risk of infection, and ensures its quality.

It examines blood units to ensure they are free of diseases and determines the blood type to ensure their safe compatibility with those in need.

Blood units are stored in a safe and organized manner to ensure their quality is maintained and transported to health institutions in a safe manner in accordance with medical standards to ensure patient safety and meet their treatment needs.
