Al Musannah Sewage Project is 78% complete

AL MUSANNAH: The execution rate of the project to complete the sewage network, treatment plant and irrigation pipeline in the Wilayat of Al Musannah, Al Batinah South Governorate, has reached 78 per cent. The total cost of the project is RO 9.877 million, covering all its facilities and components.


Nama Water Services affirmed that the project sites are witnessing significant progress across various stages, in line with the company’s vision to enhance sewage treatment capacity and keep pace with demographic and urban growth in regional governorates.


Eng Hassan bin Abdullah al Farsi, Senior Projects Manager for Regional Governorates at Nama Water Services, said that the project aims to serve the community by connecting approximately 2,000 residential units in the area, as per the plans. The project covers Al Shuaibah and Al Tareef areas in the Wilayat of Al Musannah.


The project began in November 2023 and is progressing according to the prepared timeline, with full completion and handover expected in May 2026. - ONA
