The e-services of Muscat Municipality now allow editing details, transferring the parking permit to another vehicle, or even changing the booking area within the current permit.
As per the municipality, owners with a valid parking permit for their vehicle need some
documents to apply for amending or transferring a vehicle parking permit, which include the
identity card, commercial registration papers, permit to be amended, previous and new vehicle ownership, and identifying the new area required for the permit. The service fee per permit transfer is RO2.
Temporary/Permanent Parking Permit can be applied through the Baladiyeti app, Muscat Municipality website, and the documents and details required are identity card, the number of required months, vehicle ownership, previous permit number if available, specify the area, or all areas.
The permit charges fee for one feeable zone is RO15, and for all zones is RO20.
