

SALALAH: The 'Tamkeen and Sumou' exhibition, organised by the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), concluded with seven memoranda of cooperation signed between participating institutions. The agreements aim to support SMEs, promote their products, and enhance business sustainability.
The Social Investment Center at OCCI also signed a memorandum with MyHessati, a social investment platform, to strengthen cooperation in developing innovative social investment tools for SMEs, aligned with Oman Vision 2040.
The exhibition featured over 75 SMEs from sectors including tourism, retail, restaurants, and handicrafts. Specialised corners included Entrepreneurs, Innovation, Handicrafts, and Little Pioneer, allowing children to showcase their talents.
Additionally, the event hosted the Sohar International Competition, which encouraged innovation and excellence in product presentation. Sheikh Ahmed bin Amer Al Musalhi, Chairman of the OCCI Small and Medium Enterprises Committee, highlighted the role of the exhibition in promoting competitive national products, expanding market access, and fostering a culture of entrepreneurship across Oman. – ONA
