

MIRBAT: The Dhofar International Arabian Horse Beauty Cup 2025 concluded in the Wilayat of Mirbat. The event was organised by the Dhofar Governor’s Office, in cooperation with Dhofar Tourism Company, under the auspices of HH Sayyid Marwan bin Turki al Said, Governor of Dhofar.
The championship witnessed strong competition, showcasing high levels of beauty and authenticity. The final results were as follows:
Young Colts: Rasheeq Al Ezz (36) won first place (gold champion), Eragon Zalia (35) secured second place (silver champion) and Etro Skah (39) came in third (bronze champion).
Young Fillies: Alia Jamran took first place, followed by SM Rajwa in second and Ayla DS in third.
One-Year-Old Colts: Bahr Akmal won gold, Ghazal AM took silver and Mutabahi Al Aila earned bronze.
One-Year-Old Fillies: Jazzy DC secured first place, Joel Al Shahaniya came second and Tasneem AS took third.
Large Mares: Shamoukh FSP-28 won first place, while Dana Al Hajri-26 came second.
The organisers emphasised that the success of the tournament, which coincided with the exceptional khareef season, highlights Dhofar’s rich natural and cultural attractions. They added that it also strengthens the governorate’s position as a distinguished destination for hosting regional and international sporting events.
The championship is officially accredited by the European Conference of Arabian Horse Organisations (ECAHO). Its organisation reflects ongoing efforts to invest in the tourism and cultural assets of Dhofar Governorate and enhance its standing as a leading hub for international horse championships. - ONA
