MUSCAT: The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (MoCIIP) will organise on Sunday, August 31, 2025, an event titled ‘Sustainable Business Environment’ at the Sultan Qaboos Youth Complex for Culture and Recreation.

The event will be held under the auspices of HH Sayyid Marwan bin Turki al Said, Governor of Dhofar, with the attendance of Qais bin Mohammed al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, alongside dignitaries, investors and officials from both the public and private sectors.

The event will witness the launch of the Golden Residency Programme for investors, creating a new gateway for investors and their families to settle and grow in a safe, stable and opportunity-rich environment. It will also mark the launch of the Elite Companies Initiative, designed to empower high-performing Omani companies to expand locally and globally through a comprehensive package of incentives and facilities.

In addition, the Commercial Registration (CR) Transfer Service will be inaugurated on the Oman Business Platform using electronic authentication, representing a pioneering step towards digitising all business transactions, reducing both time and costs for investors.

The Sustainable Business Environment event will further include the signing of strategic cooperation agreements to develop the construction sector with Sultan Qaboos University, the German University of Technology in Oman (GUtech), the Oman Energy Association (OPAL) and eBinaa Professional Services LLC.
