Meanwhile, the Oman League Association announced the postponement of three matches: Seeb vs Samayil, Ibri vs Al Rustaq and Al Shabab vs Al Khabourah, due to the large number of players currently engaged in national team training camps abroad in preparation for upcoming competitions. New dates will be scheduled later.

The 2025–26 Jetour Cup features 14 participating clubs divided into two groups. Group 1 includes Al Nasr, Sur, Samayil, Oman Club, Seeb, Bahla and Dhofar, while Group 2 includes Sohar, Al Rustaq, Al Khabourah, Al Nahda, Al Shabab, Ibri and Saham. This distribution ensures a highly competitive atmosphere from the early stages, especially with the teams’ close levels and eagerness to begin strongly on the road to the knockout rounds.

The Jetour Cup is considered one of the key tournaments on the Oman FA calendar, offering clubs an opportunity to test their squads and players. It is regarded as a preparatory competition during the league break, in addition to playing a vital role in boosting fan engagement and expanding interaction with Omani football.
