Muscat: The Directorate General of Inquiries and Criminal Investigations, in cooperation with the Special Taskforce Police Unit in Bauwsher, arrested three individuals, including a woman of Asian nationality, on charges of human trafficking.
The accused allegedly lured a woman of the same nationality with promises of work before depriving her of her freedom and exploiting her in acts contrary to public morals and ethics.
Legal procedures are currently underway against the suspects.
