Oman grants visa-free entry to Armenian citizens

The Sultanate of Oman has welcomed Armenia's decision to open a resident embassy in Muscat and to exempt Omani citizens from tourist visas for entry to Armenia.


It informed the Armenian side of Oman's decision to include Armenian citizens on its list of countries exempted from entry visas to the Sultanate of Oman.


This was discussed during the 5th round of political consultations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Armenia in Yerevan.

The Omani side was headed by Sheikh Khalifa Ali al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, while the Armenian side was headed by Vahan Kostanyan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
