MAHOUT: A new school named January 11th Basic Education School for grades 1-4 was completed and handed over to the Ministry of Education in the Wilayat of Mahout, Al Wusta Governorate, at an overall cost exceeding RO 1.6 million.
The school comprises 36 classrooms complete with educational facilities, as well as activity halls, learning resources, a multi-purpose hall, teacher and administration rooms, playgrounds, canopies, a canteen, a guard room and other facilities.
The school is also equipped with a clean energy system powered by solar panels, reflecting the ministry’s commitment to environmental sustainability and rationalising energy consumption.
