MUSCAT: The Board of Directors of Oman Logistics Academy has announced the appointment of Dr Mansoor al Qasmi as Chief Executive Officer, effective August 27, 2025.
Shaikh Abdulaziz al Harthy, the Chairman of the Oman Logistics Academy, said, “Dr Mansoor’s appointment marks a significant step forward in the Academy’s journey. His deep expertise in logistics and supply chain management, combined with over 25 years of experience, positions him well to lead the Academy into a new phase of growth, innovation, and academic excellence.”
In his new role, Al Qasmi will be responsible for leading the Academy’s strategic initiatives, expanding industry partnerships, and strengthening Oman’s position as a regional hub for logistics education and professional development.
“The Board is confident that Al Qasmi’s leadership will enhance the Academy’s contribution to national capacity building in line with Oman Vision 2040, and help deliver cutting-edge programmes that meet the evolving needs of the logistics sector,” the chairman added.
Dr Al Qasmi’s appointment underscores the Board’s commitment to investing in experienced leadership that supports the Academy’s long-term mission of empowering professionals and advancing Oman’s logistics ecosystem.
