HAIMA: A workshop focused on monitoring the implementation of the urban strategy in Al Wusta Governorate was held on Monday in the Wilayat of Haima, organised jointly by Al Wusta Governorate Office and the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning.

The session aimed to evaluate progress on the governorate’s urban development plan, clarify essential tasks to meet strategic objectives, and conduct direct monitoring of ongoing projects and data accuracy.

Attendees reviewed a detailed project classification presentation and agreed on a coordinated working mechanism between the Governor’s Office and the Housing Directorate to ensure seamless collaboration. The workshop also highlighted the importance of effective communication with stakeholders for project updates and role integration.

The discussions addressed key challenges related to data updates, with practical solutions proposed to overcome them. The event was attended by Shaikh Mohammed bin Ali al Ghufaili, Wali of Haima, alongside several senior officials from Al Wusta Governorate. - ONA
