LONDON: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik met at Windsor Castle in Berkshire, England, on Friday with King Charles III of the United Kingdom (UK) of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and Head of the Commonwealth.


The meeting took place within the context of His Majesty’s current private visit to the UK.


During their meeting, His Majesty the Sultan and King Charles III reviewed the deep-rooted historical relations between their two friendly nations. The discussions focused on means of enhancing cooperation across various fields to serve mutual interests and future visions, while fulfilling the aspirations of both peoples.


The two sides also exchanged views on several issues of common concern, particularly in light of recent global developments and their regional and international implications. — ONA
