Muscat: The Muscat Governorate Police Command has arrested a citizen on charges of defrauding multiple individuals through fake rental advertisements.
According to the Royal Oman Police (ROP), the suspect posted false listings for houses, apartments, and rest houses for rent across various governorates. He allegedly received advance payments via bank transfers from victims to confirm bookings that were never fulfilled.
Legal procedures against the suspect are currently underway.
