BAHLA: Sohar Aluminium signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Tuesday with the Bahla Cultural Centre for Science and Innovation to construct the Centre's building, as part of the company's ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility and support for sustainable impact projects.
The agreement was signed by Jameel Mohammed Shakeel, Communications and Social Responsibility Manager at Sohar Aluminium, on behalf of the company, and by Hilal bin Said al Yahyai, Chairman of the Centre's Founding Committee, representing Bahla Cultural Centre for Science and Innovation.
Under this agreement, Sohar Aluminium will contribute to financing the construction of the building, which will span an area of 2,000 square metres. The two-storey facility will include multiple halls for meetings and exhibitions, a library and amenities to support community activities. The project aims to enhance the cultural and intellectual landscape in the Wilayat of Bahla, located in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate. -- ONA
