Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received a phone call from the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Ebrahim Raisi.
During the call, the two leaders discussed the concerning escalation in the region and emphasised the importance of all parties exercising restraint, prioritising wisdom and dialogue, and working seriously to halt the cycle of military escalation. The conversation underscored the need to avoid further tension in the region and to open the way for diplomatic solutions.
