ISTANBUL: The Sultanate of Oman on Saturday participated in the extraordinary meeting of the Council of the League of Arab States at the ministerial level which was held in Istanbul, Türkiye.
The Sultanate of Oman’s delegation was headed by Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali al Harthy, Under-Secretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs.
The meeting condemned the Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, which constitutes a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of a UN member state and a threat to regional peace and security.
The meeting also underscored the need to halt the Israeli aggression and intensify regional and international efforts to reduce tensions towards achieving a ceasefire and comprehensive de-escalation. — ONA
