Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik today issued Royal Decree No. 55/2025 ascribing the public utility status to the “Rimal Bausher Development Project” in the Governorate of Muscat.
Article (1) states that the “Rimal Bausher Development Project” in the Governorate of Muscat, as defined in the memo and the diagram attached to this decree, is henceforth deemed a public utility project.
Article (2) instructs the departments concerned to expropriate, through direct implementation, the lands necessary for the aforementioned project, in accordance with the provisions of the Public Utility Expropriation Law promulgated by Royal Decree No. 71/2023.
Article (3) says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced from its date of issue.
