Ahmedabad plane crash: His Majesty the Sultan sends condolences to India

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has sent a cable of condolences and sympathy to Her Excellency President Droupadi Murmu of the Republic of India, following the tragic crash of a passenger aircraft at Ahmedabad Airport.


The plane, which was en route to the United Kingdom, claimed the lives of most passengers, who were of various nationalities, as well as several residents of the building the aircraft collided with.


In his message, His Majesty the Sultan expressed his deep sorrow and heartfelt sympathy over the loss of life in the devastating incident. He extended his sincere condolences to the families of the victims and shared in their grief during this difficult time.


His Majesty also expressed his hopes for the safety and well-being of the Republic of India and all nations, wishing protection from such tragic accidents and disasters.
