SALALAH: A coordination meeting held on Thursday at Dhofar Municipality in Salalah reviewed the implementation mechanisms of the media plan and preparations for covering Khareef Dhofar Season 2025 events.
This comes as part of ongoing coordination between the Ministry of Information and relevant government entities to highlight the season and the governorate’s tourism potential through local and international media platforms.
The meeting was attended by Dr Abdullah bin Nasser al Harrasi, Minister of Information, Ahmed bin Mohammed al Humaidi, Chairman of Muscat Municipality, and several officials.
Discussions focused on the approved media plan for the khareef season, which includes coverage through Oman TV and Radio, Oman News Agency (ONA), the "Ayn" platform, digital media and private media outlets.
The meeting also addressed the support Dhofar Municipality will provide for various media efforts, along with a visual presentation showcasing the locations of events included in the Khareef Dhofar Season 2025 programme. - ONA
