MUSCAT: Gen Sultan bin Mohammed al Numani, Minister of the Royal Office received in his office on Sunday Vice Admiral George M Wikoff, Commander of the United States Naval Forces Central Command.
The US official expressed his appreciation for the Sultanate of Oman’s role in enhancing means of mutual cooperation between the two countries. The two sides also exchanged views on several matters of mutual interest.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador of the United States of America to the Sultanate of Oman. Also, Dr Mohammed bin Nasser al Zaabi, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Defence received Vice Admiral Wikoff and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views and discussed military matters of mutual interest.
The meeting was attended by Brigadier Ahmed bin Ibarim Ambusaidi, Director General of International Cooperation at the Ministry of Defence. It was also attended by the Ambassador of the United States of America to the Sultanate of Oman. — ONA
