Muscat: Coast Guard Police Command, in coordination with the Directorate General for Combating Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, has apprehended a Pakistani national in the Wilayat of Quriyat. Authorities confirmed that the individual was found in possession of more than 90 kilograms of narcotic substances, including crystal meth, marijuana, hashish, and large quantities of psychotropic pills.

The seized substances were reportedly intended for distribution and trade within the Sultanate, raising serious concerns about cross-border drug smuggling activities.

Authorities stated that legal procedures are currently underway as investigations continue. The Royal Oman Police reiterated its commitment to fighting drug-related crimes and urged the public to report any suspicious activities.
