

IBRI: The National Survey and Geospatial Information Authority at the Ministry of Defence organised an awareness programme in the Al Dhahirah Governorate as part of its series of introductory visits.
The event was held under the auspices of Shaikh Najeeb bin Ali al Rawas, Governor of Al Dhahirah.
The programme, which took place at the Al Dhahirah Governor's Office in the Wilayat of Ibri, included presentations on the roles and responsibilities of the National Survey and Geospatial Information Authority, as well as the services it provides to various entities. An accompanying exhibition showcasing the authority's work was also held.
Specialised discussion sessions were conducted on geospatial requirements, exploring ways to enhance integration and cooperation between the authority and different stakeholders.
The event was attended by Commodore Nasser Ali al Harthy, Head of the National Survey and Geospatial Information Authority, along with Walis of Al Dhahirah Governorate, directors general of government departments, representatives from the private sector and the Municipal Council of the governorate, as well as a number of specialists in geospatial data. — ONA
