President Masoud Pezeshkian of the Islamic Republic of Iran received Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidy, Foreign Minister, during the latter's participation in the 4th Tehran Dialogue Forum.
Sayyid Badr conveyed greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to President Pezeshkian, along with His Majesty’s best wishes of good health and well-being to the President. Sayyid Badr also conveyed His Majesty’s wishes of progress and prosperity for the Iranian people.
In his turn, President Pezeshkian asked the minister to convey his greetings and best wishes to His Majesty the Sultan and the Omani people.
Both sides reaffirmed the strong bilateral ties between Oman and Iran, exploring avenues to further strengthen cooperation across various sectors to serve the mutual interests of both nations.
President Pezeshkian acknowledged Oman's constructive role in facilitating dialogue, particularly in supporting balanced and fair negotiations between Iran and the United States.
