Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman welcomed the announcement issued by President Donald Trump of the United States of America, regarding the lifting of US sanctions on the Syrian Arab Republic.
This decision is a step that enables the brotherly Syrian government and people to achieve development and prosperity, a Foreign Ministry statement said.
