Sayyid Asaad to lead Oman’s delegation at Gulf-US Summit

MUSCAT: On behalf of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, HH Sayyid Asaad bin Tarik al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, will leave on Wednesday heading to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to lead the Sultanate of Oman’s delegation at the Gulf-US Summit between the GCC countries and the United States. The summit is scheduled to be held in the Saudi capital, Al Riyadh on Wednesday.


HH Sayyid Asaad will be accompanied by an official delegation comprising Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidy, Foreign Minister, Dr Abdullah bin Mohammed al Saeedi, Minister of Justice and Legal Affairs, Sayyid Najib bin Hilal bin Saud al Busaidy, the Sultanate of Oman’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its Permanent Representative to the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation and its Permanent Representative to the Digital Cooperation Organisation in Riyadh, the Secretary-General at the Office of HH Sayyid Asaad and the Adviser at the Office of HH Sayyid Asaad.


The strategic partnership between the Gulf states and the United States rests on robust relations and mutual interests. This partnership has fostered enhanced cooperation across diverse political, economic, trade and investment sectors. — ONA
