KUWAIT: The Sultanate of Oman took part in the 28th meeting of the Ministers of Information of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States, held on Monday in Kuwait. The Sultanate's delegation was led by Mohammed bin Said al Balushi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information.
During the meeting, various topics were discussed to enhance cooperation among GCC countries in the media field including joint media efforts, proposed initiatives and projects for the strategic plan for media cooperation among GCC countries (2023-2030), age classifications for electronic games, guidelines and activating media partnerships with regional and international organisations. Additionally, the launch of the joint electronic application for GCC news agencies was announced at the meeting. - ONA
