SUHAR: The Municipal Council of Al Batinah North Governorate on Wednesday discussed the provision of several devices and the implementation of various services across the governorate’s wilayats.
The meeting was chaired by Mohammed bin Sulaiman al Kindi, Governor of Al Batinah North; and attended by council members and representatives from relevant government entities.
The meeting addressed several key topics, including the regulation of public markets and commercial sites to enhance operational efficiency and improve services for citizens and residents. It also reviewed ongoing municipal projects, highlighting major challenges in their execution while stressing the importance of adhering to set timelines.
The council emphasised strengthening partnerships between local communities and government units to achieve sustainable development goals in the governorate.
Additionally, the council reviewed the outcomes of the first Social Affairs Committee meeting of the year, as well as government responses on multiple issues, including requests for road rehabilitation — such as the road linking the main highway with the expressway in Al Buraik area, the Wilayat of Al Khabourah. — ONA
