MUSCAT: Dr Abdullah bin Ali al Amri, Chairman of the Environment Authority (EA) and President of the Seventh Session of the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA-7), opened the virtual consultations on the ministerial declaration for the UNEA-7. The Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Kenya and the Permanent Representative of the Sultanate of Oman to the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), chaired the first informal consultation session on the zero draft of the ministerial declaration with the participation of the UNEA-7 working and preparation team and the presence of representatives of countries, groups and civil society organizations. - ONA
