MUSCAT: HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth on Wednesday graced over the opening of Active Oman Centre and Action Point Oman at the Oman Automobile Association.
HH Sayyid Theyazin inaugurated the new identity of Oman Automobile Association 'Active Oman'. He also toured the facilities of Active Point Centre and the Action Point Oman.
The centre is a sports entertainment destination that aims to empower youth to practice their hobbies and to hone their skills in an environment that stimulates innovation and contributes to developing the sports and tourism sectors.
Action Point Oman features six indoor shooting ranges built based on global standards and equipped with state-of-the-art technology.
Active Oman Centre includes halls for padel, acrobatics, snooker, billiards and digital golf, in addition to a bowling alley, tracks for car and bike racing, and an international karting circuit. — ONA
