The Hague: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik met at the headquarters of the Dutch Cabinet in The Hague today with Dick Schoof, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
The meeting reviewed the historical relations between the two countries and means of promoting them to serve interests of the Omani and Dutch peoples. It also discussed areas of the economic and investment cooperation between the two sides. Furthermore, His Majesty and the Dutch Prime Minister exchanged views on the developments at the global arena and touched on issues of common concern.
Following the meeting, commemorative photos were taken of His Majesty with the Dutch Prime Minister, in the presence of the King and the Queen of the Netherlands.
The meeting was attended by HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs and Caspar Veldkamp, Dutch Minister of Foreign Affairs.
