MUSCAT: The Royal Army of Oman (RAO) on Tuesday celebrated the graduation of a batch of new recruits. The ceremony was held under the auspices of Rear Admiral Ali bin Abdullah al Shidi, Commandant of the National Defence College (NDC), at the presence of Maj Gen Matar bin Salim al Balushi, Commander of the Royal Army of Oman.
The event began by performing the military salute to the chief guest who inspected the first column of the graduates. The chief guest also felicitated awards to the top graduates. The event was attended by several senior officers of the Sultan’s Armed Forces, RAO officers and personnel, as well as parents of graduating recruits. - ONA
