His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik will go on a state-visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands on Monday.
A statement was issued by the Diwan of Royal Court to this effect. It reads as follows: “Within the context of the advanced relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of the Netherlands, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik will go on a state-visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands during April 14-16, 2025.“The visit aims at boosting areas of cooperation of mutual interest in a manner that meets aspirations of the two countries. The visit will address a set of regional and international topics of common concern.
“His Majesty the Sultan will be accompanied during the visit by a high-ranking official delegation comprising HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal al Busaidy, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, Gen Sultan bin Mohammed al Numani, Minister of the Royal Office, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidy, Foreign Minister, Dr Hamed bin Said al Aufi, Head of Private Office of His Majesty the Sultan, Dr Madeeha bint Ahmed al Shaibaniyah, Minister of Education, Abdulsalam bin Mohammed al Murshidi, Chairman of Oman Investment Authority, Eng Salim bin Nasser al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals and Shaikh Dr Abdullah bin Salim al Harthy, Ambassador of Oman to the Netherlands.
