Muscat: The Directorate General of Inquiries and Criminal Investigations, in coordination with the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol), arrested a resident of Egyptian nationality who was found to be involved with an international network in carrying out multiple migrant smuggling operations from various countries to European countries in exchange for financial payments.


The Royal Oman Police reaffirmed its efforts to combat transnational organized crime in cooperation with the international community to ensure public safety and security.
