TOKYO: Emperor Naruhito of Japan received at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo on Wednesday HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, within the context of his current visit to Japan.
During the meeting, HH Sayyid Theyazin conveyed greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to the Emperor of Japan, along with His Majesty’s best wishes of good health and happiness to him. His Majesty also wished the people of Japan further progress and prosperity.
On his turn, Emperor Naruhito asked HH Sayyid Theyazin to convey his greetings and best wishes of good health and well-being to His Majesty the Sultan. The Emperor also wished the Omani people further progress and growth.
The meeting touched on the historical and advanced relations between Oman and Japan. It also reviewed areas of cooperation and partnership, and means of promoting them to serve the joint interests. — ONA
