

MUSCAT: The Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) concluded its 2025 traffic education activities on Monday at Said bin Sultan Naval Base, under the auspices of Brigadier General (Retd) Ahmed bin Fairi al Balushi.
The closing ceremony featured an educational lecture by the Royal Oman Police, titled 'Driving Without a Phone.' The session highlighted the dangers of mobile phone use while driving and its detrimental effects on drivers, road users and society. Following the lecture, a visual presentation and various informative segments were showcased.
At the conclusion of the event, Brigadier General Al Balushi honoured the entities involved in this year’s traffic education activities. The ceremony was attended by senior officers, officers and a number of Royal Navy members.
