On a starry night in the historic city of Chiavari, artists and backstage supporters came in their full swing and witnessed yet another evening of a perfect amalgam of art, culture and above all, for solidifying the existing bonds between Oman and Italy where art, poetry, photography and alchemy came together on stage. A beautiful artistic event was held in Chiavari, where artists and art performances are not new to Chiavari, a city in the beautiful west Riviera in the north of Italy.

An evening of the beautiful artistic event was held at the initiative of Baroness Ana Maria Norero, delegate of the Liguri nel Mondo - Tigullio Cultural Association, on the banks of the Ligurian Sea, offering some of the typical Ligurian dishes which were much appreciated by the participants. With authors Luca Moretti and Lucia Oliva (founders of the historical-cultural association Ludica Antiqua), the evening was witnessed by the Ambassador of Oman to Italy HH Sayyid Nizar bin al Julanda bin Majid al Said, Federico Messuti, Mayor of Chiavari, and Mario Menini President of the Association Liguri nel Mondo.

Titled 'The Tale of Venice and the Incense Route', it is the story of an ideal journey in search of perfection, narrated through the allegorical language of the tale (out of metaphor, a synthetic exposition of the antecedents of the entire artistic project).

It was presented as the world preview in Oman, the land of origin of frankincense, since the dawn of time, in Muscat, in the Bait Al Zubair Museum earlier under the auspices of Sayyid Said bin Sultan al Busaidy, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth for Culture, followed by a grand show at the opening ceremony of the Venice Art Biennale, at the Omani Pavilion. Later in October, it was shown again in the Omani capital, at the National Museum, as a great continuation (epilogue). New events are under way in 2025.

It returned to the Omani capital, with a performance organised at the theatre of the National Museum on the occasion of the epilogue of the celebrations linked to the twenty-fourth Week of the Italian Language in the World.

'The Fairy Tale of Venice and the Incense Road' is a cultural allegory of a journey through time, in search of beauty. It was signed by Luca Moretti, content creator, event manager and a lawyer, along with Lucia Oliva and Luca Rajna, returning from the success achieved in Vietnam last September with 'The Legend of the Areca and the Lost Manuscript', presented at the celebration of the tenth anniversary of the Italian consulate in Saigon.

"We are glad that it has been recognised as having high cultural value by Oman's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth and Ministry of Information, by the Italian Embassy in Muscat, by International Action Art and by the European Federation of Unesco Clubs," said Dr Luca Moretti.

The programme of the day in Chiavari included a theatrical conference that introduced two short films, one narrative and the other with photographic scenes and narration in verse partly taken from the Divine Comedy and partly inspired by it.
