Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, has issued a special royal pardon to some prisoners convicted in various cases.
According to the Royal Oman Police (ROP), the royal pardon was issued to 577 prisoners, both citizens and foreigners.
The royal pardon by His Majesty the Sultan coincides with the occasion of Eid al-Fitr 1446 AH in consideration for their families.
