Muscat - Her Highness the Honourable Lady Assayida Ahd Abdullah Hamed Al Busaidi, Spouse of the Sultan of Oman, has expressed greetings to mothers in the Sultanate of Oman, and the world at large, on the occasion of Mother's Day, which falls on March 21, every year.
A message to this effect reads as follows:
“We are pleased to extend our heartfelt greetings to all mothers in our beloved country on Mother's Day, which falls on 21 March, and to all mothers around the world.
This event portrays aspects of loyalty, gratitude, and appreciation for the great sacrifices made by mothers in raising children, protecting the family and society, and instilling noble values and ideals.
This year, as we celebrate Mother’s Day during the holy month of Ramadan, we pray to Allah the Almighty to grant mothers all around the world a safe, dignified, happy, and stable life. We also pray to the Almighty to endow mothers with appropriate conditions and capabilities that enable them to fulfill their duties towards their families and society efficiently and comfortably.
