Muscat: The Oman Meteorology Office said that active northwesterly wind is expected on Thursday, March 13, affecting several governorates, including al Buraimi, North al Batinah, al Dahira, and parts of al Dakhiliyah.

The Oman Met said the winds could cause dust and sand to rise, especially in desert and open areas, leading to reduced horizontal visibility.

A drop in temperatures is also expected in the affected areas.
