Muscat: As per the notice issued by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) to all private healthcare complexes and clinics (providing health insurance services) regarding the requirement to connect and join the Dhamani electronic platform as per the electronic linkage regulation for the Health Insurance System, issued by the Authority's Decision 83/2023.

Article 2 stipulated that health insurance practitioners must carry out all health insurance transactions and exchange information through the platform from the date the policy is issued until its coverage ends.

FSA has issued a second reminder that the final deadline for submitting connection and onboarding requests to the platform is the end of March of this year and emphasized that institutions failing to connect to the Dhamani electronic platform will be removed from the networks of healthcare service providers affiliated with insurance companies.

The Dhamani electronic platform represents a significant advancement in health insurance technologies due to its positive impact in expediting treatment approvals and facilitating direct payment processes for private healthcare institutions.
