Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidy, Foreign Minister, on Monday received Amir Khan Muttaqi, Acting Afghan Foreign Minister, who is on a several-day visit to the Sultanate of Oman.
During the meeting, the two ministers exchanged friendly talks in the context of the historical ties between the two friendly peoples and the cultural values, civilisational and human traditions that bind them.
Sayyid Badr stressed Oman's support for efforts aimed at facilitating Afghanistan's integration into the international community in a way that preserves its constructive and prestigious role in the regional and international arenas.
The guest praised the importance of these meetings in opening new horizons for cooperation between the two countries, praising Oman's foreign policy and its approach based on respecting the sovereignty of states. — ONA
