Muscat: The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism (MHT) plans to offer a 12-day Grand Tour of Oman experience to visitors

The ministry has sought bids from consultancy firms that can design a project that involves designing the route for a comprehensive tourism experience across the country, including off-road adventure.

The experience should allow visitors to explore tourism products and engage in immersive and interactive experiences, ensuring that tourists are not merely spectators but become an integral part of the experience itself.

The project includes developing a clear roadmap and detailed plans for enhancing all elements of the journey, including tourist routes, key attractions, supporting services, infrastructure, governance methodologies, and monitoring frameworks to ensure that the journey is executed under the highest standards.

The project leverages the details outlined in the Tourism Development Plans for the various governorates, as prepared by the Ministry.

It should integrate tourism experience across different Omani destinations, aligning with the Top-Brand Signature Experiences identified in the Oman Tourism Strategy.

The Consulting Services must be accompanied by appropriate technical studies of the sites and prepare, develop, and design one of the Top Experience of Oman Tourism Strategy (OTS).

The last date to receive tender documents is March 3, and to submit bids is April 22.
