SALALAH: The Gulf Day for Talent and Creativity activities was held in Dhofar Governorate’s schools, focusing on both teaching staff and talented students. The event showcases student talents in various fields, including innovations in artificial intelligence and fosters collaboration with universities and educational institutions for scientific experiments.

Dr Sharifa bint Abdullah Al Yafeiyah, Director of Special Education and Continuing Education at the Directorate General of Education in Dhofar, emphasised the event’s goal to spotlight gifted students and raise awareness about the role of educational institutions in nurturing creativity. The initiative aligns with Gulf Cooperation Council leaders’ efforts to support talent and creativity in education. — ONA
