Muscat: The Oman Meteorology Office said on Monday that Oman is likely to be affected by northeast winds from Tuesday, March 4.

The wind activity is expected to persist for several days, leading to rough sea conditions and dust rising.

According to the Met Office, sea waves along the Arabian Sea coast could reach a maximum height of three metres, with moderate wave heights expected along other shores.

The weather bulletin highlighted the likelihood of rising dust and sand over desert and open areas, which may reduce horizontal visibility.

Residents, especially those in coastal and desert areas, are urged to exercise caution while driving.
